AI4WATER is pleased to welcome Prof. Eva Onaindia De La Rivaherrera, full professor at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Spain, and leader of AI4WATER’s Work Package 3 (AI Techniques for Water Management), as a visiting professor at the University of Brescia, Italy. Her 2-month visit strengthens collaboration across our consortium and advances the design and development of AI methods to enhance water resource management. WP3 focuses on creating robust AI solutions that improve predictive accuracy and enable optimized decision-making for complex water systems.
Prof. Eva brings a distinguished academic and research track record to AI4WATER. She has co-authored over 150 peer‑reviewed publications in top-tier journals and conferences and has led numerous national R&D and technology transfer projects, alongside participation in multiple EU research initiatives. Her editorial and leadership roles include serving as Editor-in-Chief of AICommunications and program co-chair of ICAPS 2019. She regularly contributes to the program committees of IJCAI, AAAI, ICAPS and ECAI, and has been invited as keynote and distinguished committee member at prominent events in AI.
