AI4WATER has been officially launched in Egypt following the formal signing of the project agreement at Sadat City University. The signing, carried out on Sunday by Dr. Ahmed Ezzab, President of Sadat City University, confirms Egypt’s role as a core partner in the AI4WATER consortium and marks the start of project implementation under the EU-supported PRIMA Programme, bringing together research institutions from six Mediterranean countries.
The official launch of AI4WATER in Egypt represents a key milestone for Mediterranean cooperation on climate-resilient water management. By hosting the project signing, Sadat City University formalizes its leadership role within the AI4WATER consortium, supported by national funding from the Science, Technology and Innovation Funding Authority (STDF) in cooperation with the European Union.
